Manic Panic stays bright for a few days and washes out--not so with Special Effects! Of course, any temporary dye will fade...but SE stays BRIGHT for weeks. When I say bright, I mean it looks like there is a glowing light shining from underneath your hair! It is neon, eye-popping, vibrant, BRIGHT.After one application of Manic Panic, re-applies NEVER stayed in my hair and faded out very quickly. Again, this is where Special Effects is superior. You can dye and re-dye your hair the same color (or similar colors on the spectrum), and every time it will stay in your hair for weeks, never compromising its vibrancy. So unlike Manic Panic, you can dye your hair for months or even years and most people will continuously have positive, vibrant, long-lasting results.
