I have ashy brown hair, and I get it dyed red; so the last thing I need is green eyebrows contrasting with my red hair. I used to get it tinted at the salon, but they charge quite a bit. With this, I just mix up as much as I need with a cotton swab, apply it with a cotton swab, wipe it off after 5 minutes or so with a cotton pad and water...ta da! My eyebrows are now tinted red. Notice that all of the positive reviews are from women who dye their hair red. I, on the other hand, have natural red hair (which as I've gotten older has truly turned auburn). Unfortunately my eyebrows are a pale blonde. I was using Godefroy light brown eyebrow tint (which BTW is a much better product than this) but I thought it would be nice to have something with more red in it. My fear was that it would turn out that weird purplish red that you sometimes see women dye their hair. I was right to be afraid. The color does not look even remotely natural on me. I'm going to try buying the brown tint and mixing it in to see if I can get a better match but I wouldn't recommend this for natural red heads. The purple color that the cream turns with mixed gave me reason to pause, but once it was wiped off they looked wonderful. Easy as pie to use - I agree with the other reviewer who said it would be a real challenge to accidentally get it in your eyes. Easy, quick, wonderful product. |
